The Saudi Gazette reported that on Tuesday (19/12), Saudi Arabia announced the launch of an integrated visa platform called ‘KSA Visa’ to facilitate visa application procedures. This is part of the government’s efforts to attract more tourists in the coming years.

Speaking at the Digital Government Forum (DGF) in Riyadh on Tuesday, Abdulhadi Almansouri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs, said the platform is connected to more than 30 government institutions, ministries and private sectors to facilitate obtaining various types of visas, including Hajj visas or visit visas for Umrah or tourism as well as work visas.

It should be noted that the Digital Government Forum will witness the announcement of the results of the 2023 digital transformation measurement. The Governor of the Digital Government Authority, Ahmed Alsuwaiyan previously said that in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia seeks to continue digitization.

The transformation journey, by enabling all government agencies to improve the efficiency of digital services, contributes to enhancing the experience of beneficiaries and quality of life, as well as increasing competitiveness
